How Tranquil Havens Evolved

Whilst searching high & low for particular Garden Products to enhance our own backyard, we quickly discovered that it wasn't that easy to find the more unusual or exotic types of items.

I had just quit my stressful occupation, and was looking for a few months of just chilling out. To keep myself active, I decided to do make a Vege Garden. Then, to keep the bugs off my vege patch, I started looking at 'companion planting'.

Whilst searching on the web over the next few months, I came across many unusual Gardens and many unusual Plants & Grasses. I began purchasing some of the more practical plants and placed them in our yard.

Unknowingly, a theme began to develop. I began to research the types of items to include in this theme. I wanted items that were Ornamental / Oriental / Low Maintenance / Drought Resistant / Excellent for Garden Edging / Gave a Clumping Effect ........

Some of the items I discovered in my search included:

Korean Grass (Zoysia tenuifolia)
Baby Panda Bamboo (Pogonatherum paniceum cv.'Monica')
Buddha Statues (With a Solar Light)
Bunyip Buttons (Sclerathus unifloris)
Echidna Grass (Deschampsia caespitosa)
Dwarf White Stripe (Pleioblastus fortunei)
White Mondo Grass (Ophipogon jaburan varigata)

After finally completing my project, I said to myself, self, I reckon there are many, many home owners out there who would love to be able to have these types of plants & grasses in their gardens.

So, after more research and a Certificate 4 Business Course, here we are.

We are here to cater to the ever increasing demand from home proud Aussies for Garden products that are not only Attractive, but are also Low Maintenance, Drought Tolerant and inexpensive.

Too often we visited Nurseries & Exotic Garden retailers only to come away disillusioned by the lack of choice & the exorbitant prices.
