If your border measured 10 lineal metres, and you decided on 30 plants per lineal metre, you would require:

10 metres x 30 plants = 300 plants = $73.50 including postage

If you decided on 40 plants per lineal metre you would require:

10 metres x 40 plants = 400 plants = $96.00 including postage

Pavers

With Pavers you need to add up the total length of all the rows in between the pavers.

Similarly, if the total length of all the rows came to 30 metres and you decided on 30 plants per lineal metre, you would require:

30 metres x 30 plants = 900 plants = $202.50 including postage

If you decided on 40 plants per lineal metre you would require:

30 metres x 40 plants = 1200 plants = $258.00 including postage

Mass Planting

For Mass planting in a garden, most clients work on 300 to 500 per square metre.

If your garden is 1 metre wide by 2 metre long = 2 square metres = 600 plants = $141.00 including postage
